great bbq spot near Clarendon with ample parking spaces. The food was delicious and had good portions but it didn't blow us away. There were only two sauce options on the table (compared to Smokecraft another bbq place in Clarendon that offers 6). We will come back still because it's a solid spot!

This is my 3rd time at this location and would totally recommend. The pulled pork and chicken sandwich is pretty good. But I think the best might be the brisket or ribs. A good option is the three meat platter that has a bit of everything along with the beans and fries or mash are amazing! The price can be a bit more expensive than other spots but depends on what you order. The vibes here are really good and the food comes out extremely fast. If you are indecisive about what you want from all the choices, the workers give great advice.

Founded in Washington, D.C., it's fun to see Rocklands in Arlington too. (They also have a location in Alexandria.) After a morning with friends at Oak Grove Park, we stopped in for lunch on a Saturday in May around 12:30 p.m. There was a short line, but it moved quickly. Here's our experience. 1) Food: There's a large menu on a big poster when you walk in that can be a little overwhelming, but the menu above the register is more accessible. I ordered their version of a pulled pork sandwich (they call is "chopped pork") and turned it into a platter so I could get coleslaw and baked beans. My daughter enjoyed the mac and cheese side. Throughout the space are stations and bottles with their house BBQ sauce, sweet and smokey sauce, vinegar-based BBQ sauce, and mustard BBQ sauce. The sweet and smokey is thick and paired well with the sandwich. The coleslaw didn't look good, but it was surprisingly tasty. 2) Drinks: They have all sorts of drinks, including fountain drinks. We asked for cups for water and there's a vat of lemon slices to go in the water by the fountain drink area. They also sell beer, etc. ' 3) Space: There's an outdoor patio and plenty of seating inside with small to large tables. The tables have BBQ sauce containers on them. There's a parking lot and inside are two restrooms kept clean.

Really really good for this area. This is the closest thing, specifically in arlington, to real smoked bbq. The meats can be hit or miss, but usually i would say they're pretty good. The fatty brisket is great. The sides however...amazing! Broccoli salad and collard greens are unbelievable! The wings are tiny, but full of flavor. Love this place!

First, I have to admit I tried Rocklands Barbeque yearssss ago BUT wasn't a fan. Now fast forward to a month ago, I was at a gathering and was stuffing my face! Turns out they had catered from Rocklands Barbeque. I had literally been thinking about stopping by ever since....needed some more of those greens and Mac & cheese! Will be returning again soon! Prices are very reasonable!

Some of the best bbq I have ever had and I have been to many bbq joints. The meat was absolutely delicious, could not recommend more all of the pulled meats, the Mac and cheese, fries and baked beans. Cannot go wrong with anything from Rocklands! I even bought a bottle of bbq sauce for home!

I took out of town guests to this Arlington location on a nice weekday for lunch. We sat outside and enjoyed the patio, with benches and umbrellas. Enjoyed the Pearl (mac & cheese, beans, pulled pork), ribs, meat combo plate, especially the flavorful chicken and brisket. Quick, pleasant service. Had plenty of leftovers for a delicious lunch the next day.

Had delivery again and this place is tasty as ever. The chopped pork sandwich was loaded with lots of lean tasty pork and just a little sauce, not too much and not too little. The collards were also good as always with a little pork added for flavor and no bitterness. Beans were solid and the jalapeno cornbread was a little bit sweet and a little bit of heat just as it should be. The fried okra doesn't do the best with delivery but that's not their fault and I don't get to have it often so I'll accept a little sogginess since it's still tasty. I'll order from here again soon as it's some of the most consistely tasty BBQ in the area and I'll need to go check out their location sometime.
